I saw this on the news the other day. It is amazing how music can influence people even at the age of infants. The parents in an interview said that they had exposed these twins to all genres of music. It just shows how music can tap into enjoyment at such an early age.

That's adorable!!! People are always saying this, but music (and I guess math, too) is a universal language. With music it is something that comes from inside of someone and especially in that video, you can see that even babies can appreciate it. I want to understand the science of music because somehow I think that will make it more magical. Great video!
ReplyDeleteThat is sooooo cute! If they continue on like that, both of the girls may wind up with perfect pitch! Either way, it's so good to see people being exposed to music at this age. It's really very important to their development both specifically as musicians and as people with creative and intellectual tendencies. Thanks for posting!
ReplyDeleteI loved this! It definitely brightened my day. Going into music education, and being interested in elementary, made this video especially interesting for me. It shows how music can be effective at any age. I'm even more excited now to keep working towards my goal of becoming a music teacher.
ReplyDeleteOhmygosh, that was just way too cute! It was amazing to see their faces instantly light up with joy and happiness once their father started playing. Surprisingly, they were actually keeping time fairly well with their little dance movements which goes to prove that music is something that can be so natural and free. Like Zoey said, its fabulous that they are being exposed to music at suc h a young age. Hopefully they will grow up with a continued appreciation and love for music!
ReplyDeleteThat is tooo cute!! I love it! It just shows that no matter how old you are, you can always love music. The fact that heard the music and instantly started dancing. The power of music never ceases to impress me. I am having my children listen to music all the time...all...the..time.
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome "break" from homework ;) When I was a kid, or adolescent I suppose, my brother and I had a nanny who had three little girls. The youngest, Piper, always loved listening to my brother and I play our instruments and sing. When music plays, her childish activities cease. She becomes entranced. This can be observed among so many children. Music can be one of the most integral influences in a child's life.
